Congratulations to Mrs. Karen Straus, Director of CCA Orchestras, and to the following middle school students who have won a place in the Texas Private School Music Educators Association (TPSMEA) Middle School All-State Honor Orchestra:
- Nadia Livingstone (6th grade)
- Christian Olson (7th grade)
- Leslie Ondrey (7th grade)
- Aakash Patel (8th grade)
- Daniel Twiss (7th grade)
- Wesley VanSteenbergen (7th grade)
- Matt Warren (7th grade)
- Allen Yoo (7th grade)
Their concert is scheduled for Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 7:00 PM. The location is to be announced.
Congratulations also go out to Aakash Patel for being selected for the TPSMEA All-State Orchestra. Aakash is 11th chair, 1st violin. He is currently in the eighth grade at CCA so this is a particularly outstanding accomplishment for Aakash, Mrs. Straus, and CCA.
