Every Thursday morning high school students receive many blessings in specially planned chapel services conducted by Mr. Jeremy Gregory, the high school chaplain. On special occasions the high school and middle school are frequently combined.
The aim of CCA's high school chapel is to see and savor the truth, goodness, and beauty of the Gospel. This is accomplished by corporate singing of the Gospel in "old" and "new" songs, praying, and meditating on scriptures.
The chaplain also presents a series of messages throughout the school year. This year the meditations have been "Reflections on the Psalms." In past years, the series has included "The Gospel in the Old Testament," "The Ten Commandments," and "Parables."
Special guests are invited to speak on a variety of topics. Some of the guests are current teachers and administrators, and others are alumni who return to give their testimony concerning their lives after attending CCA. At least one a term an all-student chapel is conducted. Student participation is strongly encouraged.
