Upper School (6-12)
College-Prep Courses for Middle & High School Students
Carrollton Christian Academy offers a balanced program of college-preparatory
academics, fine arts, weekly chapel services, Bible classes, and athletics
for students at the middle and high school levels. We also strive to enhance
every student’s communication skills, creative expression, and Christian
perspective via our curricula so they not only enjoy coming to school
every day but develop invaluable skills that can help them succeed later
in life. If your child is interested, dual credit courses are offered
through Brookhaven College to help them build college credit.
Required courses for Upper School students include, but are not limited to:
- Fine Arts
- Social Studies
- Foreign Language
- Physical Education
If your child is transferring to CCA, they do not need to make up Bible
credits from previous years. Our students at CCA rank favorably among
standardized achievement tests and college entrance exams when compared
to public and private school students across the United States. Seventh-grade
students are eligible to participate in Duke University’s Talent
Identification Program. This program recognizes secondary students in
the areas of fine arts, academia, and athletic contest events.
Our fine arts department includes numerous classes such as art, choir,
orchestra, theater arts, and band. During every fall semester, our students
create a play, and in the spring, our choir students hold a musical production.
